Nicky in the Snow

"Nicky in the Snow" is a delightful commissioned piece of a beloved Sheltie that will adorn the owner's new home office wall.  It was challenging to get all the snowy landscape right as this piece was painted during the hot NC Summer!  The striking contrast of the dog's dark fur works well against the snowy pine...and the delicate snow clinging to the branches on the left balance him nicely.  What a great holiday gift and memory for my client!
